Nanotechnology: business models
Nanotechnology is part of the emerging sectors in which business development methods have not been established yet. Many interrogations are raised regarding which type of business models best fits to nanotechnology’s companies. New business models have been tested in the case of biotechnology and have deeply changed the pharmaceutical industry, mainly because of the key role played by start-ups. What kind of business models is the most suitable for the economic development of nanotechnology?
